Helmut Guth
artist of German origin, born in 1953 in Reichenbach in Germany. He has worked for over 40 years between Pully and the Black Forest, the place where he grew up.
He has exhibited since 1993 in numerous exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany and France.
The painter Helmut Guth invites us to encounter a nature in motion, where the viewer can feel the beating sun and the smell of Lake Geneva in the landscapes of Lavaux; or even feel the wind caressing a field of wheat and lavender, hear the cicadas around the hamlets or the storm threatening the magnificent landscapes of Provence.
"TableGreenland, takes you to the other side of the planet. Here again Helmut Guth shows his dexterity and incredible technique. This piece of ice appears to be floating in moving water. This image could be a view through a porthole. A freeze frame of magnificent depth.
He uses oil painting in a unique way, his extraordinary technique is of rare beauty and gives his landscapes a fabulous appearance where light and textures are masters. “C.Y.
