Ignazio Bettua
Swiss artist, born in 1972. Graduate of ECAL. He is the winner of several prizes including: the Keifer Halblitzel Stifung prize - the Leenarrds Foundation prize - Irène Reymond Foundation prize - and more recently the FEMS prize (Edouard Maurice Sandoz Foundation) thanks to which the artist created this series of birds called Uccellini.
The Uccelini are small, colorful sculptures that invite us to raise our heads, look here, elsewhere, and question our relationship to animality, nature and its representation. They rub shoulders with their living models on the roofs of the St-François church.
Around fifteen birds were created especially for the Estrée foundation.
Once the work is reserved via the Estrée website, an invoice will be sent to you by email. After payment for the work, it will be available at the Fondation l'Estrée for collection. It is obviously possible to come and see and confirm your reservation directly at Estrée.
